簡雪晴出生於台中，五歲開始學琴。之後畢業於國立台灣師範大學音樂系，並且獲頒德國 「福萊堡音樂大學」鋼琴演奏藝術家文憑，以及「舊金山音樂院」鋼琴伴奏碩士。 曾多次獲得比賽獎項和獎學金，包括台灣區鋼琴比賽冠軍、晶華書局鋼琴比賽冠 軍、台中市小提琴比賽冠軍、張琳德鋼琴獎學金及功學社音樂資優獎學金。並且 在美國、歐洲、以及台灣等地演出獨奏、伴奏、室內樂等不同形式的音樂會。曾 在台中教育大學、台南女子技術學院、台中二中、曉明女中、新民高中、清水高 中、雙十國中、光復國小等校擔任鋼琴教師。目前是「舊金山音樂院」和「加州 聖母大學」的伴奏老師和聲樂教練。

Hsueh-Ching Chien, a native of Taiwan, began her music studies at the age of five.  Her music training spans three continents, receiving dvanced degrees from the National Taiwan Normal University, Staatliche Hoschule für Musik Freiburg in Germany, and most recently from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  Ms. Chien has been the recipient of various music awards and scholarships, including first places in the Taiwan Piano Competition, Chin-Hua Piano Competition, and Chang Lin-De Piano Award.  She has performed as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician in Europe, USA, and Taiwan.  Before coming to the US, Ms. Chien served on faculty at the Taichung University of Education and Tainan University of Technology and taught piano to gifted students in central Taiwan.  Currently, she is an accompanist and voice coach at San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Notre Dame de Namur University, and the choir director of Hope United Methodist Church.
